What do I need to know about ordering?
Ordering can be done at any time, 24 hours a day at
http://www.korinekphotography.com. Any prints purchased directly from the website are Open Edition Prints. To purchase Special Limited Edition Prints you must email photography@koreweb.com
What is the difference between an Open Edition and a Special Limited Edition Print?
Open Edition Prints means that there is no limit to how many prints can be made of a particular photograph. They are ordered directly through the website and are available on various mediums.
Special Limited Edition Prints are only printed in a limited number. These prints are truely stunning and are printed using advanced methods that are different to Open Edition Prints. Each print is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity denoting the details and the edition number of the photograph. Since there are a limited number of prints of this type that will be in circulation, they are more likely to hold their value over time and are perfect for people who love to collect art.
What do the Edition Numbers mean?
The edition number refers to the total number of photographs that will be printed using the Special Limited Edition techniques. Once all prints in an edition are sold, that photography will never be available as a Special Edition again. The only way to purchase that Special Limited Edition Print would be off another collector. This makes your Special Edition Limited Print a truly unique work of art.
If I can't decide what to buy someone else, can I purchase a gift card?
Definitely! Although you cannot do this directly through the website. If you would like to give the gift of Korinek Photography to someone else, you can do so by emailing photography@koreweb.com for details.
The Gift Cards are issued for any amount, and may be used in any of the galleries on either Open Edition or Special Limited Edition Prints. If you would like to add a message to the gift card, that can also be arranged.
What forms of payment do you accept?
KP currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover on all orders through the Smugmug platform on the website. Special Limited Edition Print transactions are usually done through Paypal (
http://www.paypal.com) although alternate arrangements can be made if necessary.
How secure is your website?
The online store is built on the Smugmug platform, a large online company with a lot of experience in providing safe and secure transactions. It is a Certified McAfee Secure Site.
How do the Prices work?
Since Special Limited Edition Prints are released in limited numbers, hold their value for collectors, use advanced printing techniques and media they demand a higher price-point. They are also signed and come with a certificate of authenticity containing an edition number.
Open Edition prints are also visually stunning and are priced at a more affordable price-point for those interested in having high quality photography for their homes or workplaces who have no interest in the investment aspect of art. Both types of prints come with the Korinek Photography Guarantee.
Why do the prices on the website fluctuate from time to time?
Prices have been set ahead of time but fluctuate slightly due to currency conversion and other variables related to relying on the Smugmug platform.
Can I buy your prints in my own currency?
Prints can currently be purchased directly in the following currencies: Canadian Dollar, US Dollar, Euro, British Sterling and the Australian Dollar. The prices are automatically converted by the Smugmug platform. Otherwise if you used one of the accepted credit cards, they will automatically do the conversion for you. Since Special Limited Edition print transactions are done through Paypal, they do the conversion as well.
Do you ship internationally?
Open Edition prints from the website will only ship to countries that the Smugmug platform allows, but this includes many countries. Special Limited Edition Prints can also be shipped to most countries - email photography@koreweb.com to inquire.
What is the Korinek Photography Guarantee?
Korinek Photography offers a 60-day "hassle free" refund and exchange policy on all products. We guarantee our photographic prints against any defects in product or craftsmanship.
What is your Return/Exchange Policy?
Yes. Korinek Photography offers products of the highest quality. If for any reason a product does not meet your expectations, you may return it within 60 days. We will gladly replace the merchandise or issue a full refund.
Is shipping included?
No, for both Open Edition and Special Edition Limited Prints, shipping is an additional cost.
What is the approximate cost of shipping?
This depends on the size of the shipment and where it is going to. Shipping costs on Open Edition website purchases are calculated by the Smugmug platform and are visible before final purchase. If you would like a shipping estimate for a Special Edition Limited Print purchase, please email photography@koreweb.com
